Who qualifies for Insure Fitness Group?
Certified group fitness instructor or certified personal trainer.
Is the policy in my name or my business' name?
It must be in the practitioner’s name. However, if you’re a sole proprietor, your business name will be covered. If you have a corporation, partnership, or work for a franchise, the business may be added as an additional insured
What isn't covered?
Your Insure Fitness Group policy does not cover invasive practices (e.g., acupuncture, colonic educators or herbal/nutritional counseling) or the use of T-bars, charges of sexual harassment or the transmission of HIV or an STD.
Can my spouse or employees be added to my policy?
No. Each licensed practitioner is responsible for their policy.
How do I file a claim?
Call Insure Fitness Group at 800-379-7799. A representative can start your claim process over the phone or email you a form to complete.
If I switch careers, am I still covered?
Yes, if your policy was in effect at the time of the incident. All Insure Fitness Group policies are Occurrence Form Coverage, you’re covered as of the date the injury occurred, not the date the claim was made.
I lost my proof of coverage, how do I get another one?
Log into your customer portal, download, save, and print a new proof of insurance at no cost.
Can I cancel my policy or get a refund?
There are no refunds or cancellations.
How soon will coverage go into effect?
Your Insure Fitness Group policy goes into effect immediately. Apply here
Which states am I covered?
All 50 United States and Washington D.C. (U.S. Territories not included)
What is considered an additional insured?
A qualified “additional insured” can be a person or corporation. The cost of adding each additional insured is $10 per year, or $30 per year for unlimited.
Are there class size limits while teaching?
No. There is no minimum or maximum.
Do extra fees apply for teaching more than one style?
No. You can teach or practice any of the modalities listed here.
Does my policy cover medical expense claims?
Yes. The general liability portion of your policy covers medical expenses. There are no limits assigned to these expenses.
How does the Identity Protection Plan work?
Your identity is an asset that deserves special protection, just like your home, auto and other assets. In the event of identity fraud, you may incur expenses fighting to take back your good name. The Identity Protection Plan provides protection and assistance in the event of identity theft.

What do $1 million per occurrence and $3 million individual annual aggregate mean?
Per occurrence means the maximum amount of coverage available for each incident resulting in a claim. Insure Fitness Group offers $1 million in liability coverage per occurrence, or per single claim. Individual annual aggregate is the maximum amount of coverage available to you for all incidents that occur during a policy year. Insure Fitness Group offers an individual annual aggregate of $3 million per year.
