In this webinar, Pat Marques, Z-Health Master Trainer and NSCA-CPT, and Dr. Grove Higgins, DC, dive into the growing need for smarter recovery strategies for joint replacement clients.
They’ll cover why traditional physical therapy is often incomplete for active adults, how a neuro-centric approach can accelerate recovery, and the key principles fitness professionals need to integrate into training programs.

Why This Webinar Matters for Fitness Professionals
Joint replacement surgeries are on the rise – projected annual rates for knees, hips, and shoulders now number in the hundreds of thousands in the U.S. each year.
As these procedures increase, so does the need for fitness professionals who understand how to support their clients through their recovery. While traditional physical therapy is an important step after surgery, it’s often incomplete for clients who want to return to a more active or athletic lifestyle.
That’s where fitness professionals like you can play a vital role.
By using neuro-centric strategies (like the ones discussed in the webinar), trainers can go beyond the standard biomechanical model of recovery. Approaches focused on sensory input, motor control, and isometric strength don’t just help with healing; they can accelerate recovery, improve performance, and help clients regain confidence in their movement.
